Last week to Join Beginners Bachata Fusion

NEXT tuesday is last week to join the Beginners level Bachata Fusion classes-6.15pm at The Deaf Hub, Dundee.  Improvers level can join class from Week 5 ( from 11th February) to week 10
Prices : £5 a class or 9 week block for £31.50
Money raised for the Azul Wasi project for former street children
If you are already dance at Bachata improver level (or above) then join us in week 5 with Massimo from Italy who will be co- teaching.
Usual higher level salsa classes also resume on Jan 14th too.

Please come 10 mins early on first week to register & pay. Dress code is casual. Best to wear shoes with a slippy sole that are firmly secured to feet though.
Please note : There is no car parking directly outside the Deaf Hub, you may get a parking ticket in the privare car park, best to park on Brown Street

LQ Christmas Charity Social – 17 December

Christmas Charity Social – 17 Dec-  Deaf Hub, Dundee.
7.15-8.15pm – Christmas Cuban Rueda Class ( anyone welcome, including beginners)
8.15-10.30pm- Social latin dancing with Christmas party games

Class £3, Social £3, combo ticket £5. Money raised for Azul Wasi project in Peru- there is now only £247 to raise to hit the £110,000 mark by Christmas. So let’s try !! please pass the word if you can.
There will be a raffle & mince pies & nibbles next tuesday too, donations for raffles always gratefully appreciated.
(The usual beginners salsa class is on too next tuesday- last one at 6.30pm to 7.15pm)

CHARITY MIXED LATIN NIGHT – THIS SATURDAY

This Saturday ! Pass the word please
Latin Quarter and Dundee Salsa are joining forces to bring you a festive Charity Mixed Latin Night at The Gate, Perth Rd, Dundee. Money raised will go to the street children Azul Wasi Project in Peru. The evening begins with an Improver Bachata class at 8pm with Sarah (LQ) and then social dancing until midnight.
Fruit juice, soft drinks and nibbles will be provided and are included with the entry price. There will also be a raffle too. I have some prizes left from donations from the bands night but if anyone would like to donate a few more things, some wine/chocs would be good.  On the 7th, you can bring your own alcohol if you wish. It will be a great evening to start the festive dancing season, anyone welcome. Doors open at 7.45pm. Hope you can make it along on the 7th of December. Please spread the word, thanks.
Bachata class – 8-8.45pm -£4 or with social included £7 ( £5 conc)
Social only £5 or £4 conc, pay on the door.

Latin Quarter 16th Anniversary party with the groovy live SON SABROSO on Saturday 23rd November, 2019 @ The Friary, Tullideph Rd, Dundee, DD2 2PN, 8pm- 1am. Free Salsa beginners class at 8.15pm. Tickets £13 on door, £10 in advance in classes, from Grouchos (cash only) or email. Children welcome if supervised, £8 on door Come and spice up your life ! BIG THANKS TO AFROBEATS for the venue, ALESSIO for helping with classes & fun animations & to everyone who came last wednesday. We raised a fab £140 for the Azul Wasi Project in Peru for former street children.  Hope to see you at the next LATIN QUARTER event at the Friary on 23rd November, with SON SABROSO live latin band.
