3 week Cross body salsa to Cuban rueda conversion course
4 05 2019 3 week Cross body salsa to Cuban Rueda conversion course starting on Tuesday 21st May at 8.15pm at the Deaf hub – £4 per class. This short course is for anyone who dances at least at improver level Cross body style salsa (or cuban/ rueda) (this is usually around 6 months cross body style or other salsa experience). Not suitable for beginners.
The conversion 3 week course will provide the necessary skills to convert to Cuban salsa technique and Rueda moves to allow people to join the Deaf Hub Improver/ Intermediate Cuban Rueda class ( at 8.15p on tuesdays ) after the 3 week course, if attended in full.
The classes are also suitable for individuals who attend other Cuban dance/ rueda classes as there may be some differences in move names / sequences so the course will allow you to learn enough to join the tuesday Rueda group. Any queries to LQsalsadundee@gmail.com.

This class is aimed at improver/ intermediate level cross body salsa dancers ( usually 6 to 12 months dancing experience), no beginners please.
Class open to non Latin Quarter dance students too.

NEW Beginners Cross Body Style Salsa, classes start tues 7th may, 6.15-7.05pm, at The Deaf Hub, Old Mill, 23, Brown St, Dundee. 10 week block pass £35, or £5 per class weekly. Bachata class & Thanks
14 04 2019This tuesday will be an extra ( and last before classes break) Improvers Bachata class at the Deaf Hub – @ 6.15pm, £4. Other 2 salsa classes running as usual.
Also BIG thanks to everyone who came to the Bachata Rueda class & LQ social last tuesday we raised £135 (after room hire excluded) for the Azul Wasi project in Peru.

26 03 2019Please note slight change to programme for this Wednesday @ Afrobeats, unfortunately Massimo is unable to teach the mens shine class but will be joining us for the social dancing later. Alessio has kindly stepped in at short notice to teach the mens shines class (many thanks Alessio). Remember there are animations (line ups) too in the social and our 3 Italian ballerini (Massimo, Alessio & Lorenzo) will be joining us on the dance floor in the social ! Hope you can make it.
