LATIN QUARTER SALSA CEILIDH with the live Ceilidh band, The Phenobarbitones @ The Friary, Tullideph Rd, Dundee, DD2 2PN on Saturday May 20th, 2017,  8pm- 12.30am.  Free Salsa beginners class at 8pm. Band will play 2 Ceilidh music sets, will be plenty of latin music too throughout the evening.  Tickets £8 ( £5 students) in advance from Latin Quarter tuesday classes or on the door.  Contact LQsalsadundee@gmail.com for more details. Will be a bar and a raffle on the night. Tables can be reserved via same email for 8 minimum for prepaid ticket holders.  Anyone welcome, no partner necessary, will be someone at the function to show you the Ceilidh dances if you don’t know them.  Proceeds go via Uk charity Peace Child International for the Azul Wasi project in Peru near Cusco, home for former street children.
Any donations for the Raffle would be gratefully received, please email if you would like to make a donation, so a list can be compiled before for the evening. Please start passing the word, pop a poster up or send to others if you can.

Charity Ceilidh – 22nd March

Come and join us for a night of music and dancing to support two very special schools with the fabulous combination of Angus Wares, Sandy Brechin and Sandy Mathers at The Friary, Tullideph Road, Dundee, DD2 2PN on 22nd March 2014. (BYOB).     The pupils at both Kingspark Special School, Dundee and Manos Unidas Special School, Peru experience a range of challenges, including profound and multiple learning difficulties, behavioural challenges and Autism Spectrum Disorder. By coming to this event you will be supporting both schools to provide specialised resources and promote community learning. Manos Unidas School will also use the money donated to help run the school, pay their teachers and promote community awareness.  Tickets are £10 and you can contact me at lyndseytyler@hotmail.com.   Everyone Welcome!

Charity Ceilidh for special schools in Dundee & Cusco – June 22nd

poster (1)Lyndsey has organised a Ceilidh for a very good cause to raise money for 2 special schools, one in Dundee the other in Cusco.  Please pass the word, pop a poster up in a local shop, library ..  June 22nd, Chamber East, £10 a ticket. She is also looking for resources & raffle prizes :
Two teachers from Kingspark School (Dundee) are travelling to Cuzco, Peru to visit Manos Unidas Special School in July. Hoping to take out any easily packable resources and toys or any specialised equipment/resources for pupils with additional needs.  Also looking for raffle prizes or vouchers for the ceilidh, see poster, email lyndseytyler@hotmail.com for tickets.
