Latin Quarter latin social – fri 21st Feb
8 02 2014Latin Quarter social – Friday 21st February, Forthill Sports Club (function suite), Fintry Place, Broughty Ferry, DD5 3BG, see directions below & google map. Doors open at 8pm with a beginners taster salsa class followed by music & dancing till 12 midnight. Entry to social £5/£4 (students), pay on door. Anyone welcome, bring friends & family, no partner necessary. Come & spice up your life with some latin spirit & help raise money for Azul Wasi, home for former street children at the same time. Directions :From bottom road from dundee towards broughty ferry, turn up forthill road , go up hill then take right turn onto Fintry Place, when see scholl on your left turn right down small road, signposted to sports centre on fence, follow road around to right, continue & park. Building is to right hand side & upstairs ( not sports centre on left side).

Cuban Rueda Improvers/ Intermed class 8.10-9.10pm. £4 per class, or multi- class deal £20 for 6 classes if paid in advance for either the cross body or Rueda class. Multi class deal is pass per class.

Merry Christmas
18 12 2013Merry Christmas ! Just a big thanks to everyone for supporting Latin Quarter classes and events in 2013, we raised just over £7, 500 this year & a total of £75, 690 since 2002 for the Azul Wasi project in Peru. Classes restart at the Deaf Hub on Jan 14th.

LQ Christmas party- Tues 10th Dec
2 12 2013Christmas latin social on tues 10th Dec, 8 till 10.30pm at The Deaf Hub, £3, bar open for drinks. Bachata workshop 7.15-8pm before the social, £4 for workshop only, or £5 for workshop & social. Workshop for beginners and something for those with some bachata experience already. Anyone welcome, bring friends along. All money raised for Azul Wasi project in Peru.

Deaf Hub continuing beginners class
25 11 2013Last week for Deaf Hub beginners to join the continuing beginners cross body salsa class this tuesday 6.30pm. Anyone who has completed at least 8 weeks of Beginners cross body salsa classes before can also join this week, if done past cross body inside turn & titanic moves. 4 week block left £12 for block or £4 per class.
