12 12 2011Many thanks to everyone who came to the SPICE night on Saturday and supporters of Latin Quarter events & classes. We raised £278 on Sat for the Azul Wasi project. That makes a grand total of £7,450 raised in 2011 for Azul Wasi and £61,646 raised in total since 2002 for Azul Wasi & £5, 917 for other charities which is fantastic. So a BIG thanks to all the Latin Quarter supporters & a VERY Happy festive period to everyone, hope to see you in the New Year, keep dancing !

Social dancing on Monday eves
20 06 2011Will has organised for some social dancing ( latin music ) at the Mark Henderson Centre on Mondays from 8:15pm through to at least 9:45pm. Costs £2/£1 Students. Proceeds go to Signpost International. Hope some of you can go along to support it folks.

Salsa social night on Sat 20th Nov, 8pm till 12pm @ Club Romano, West Wynd, Dundee ( just off Perth Road, near Dilsee restaurant) If you’re new to Latin Quarters, its a latin night with music to dance to with a free beginners salsa class at 8pm. Pay on the door £5/ £4 (students), all money raised goes to help the Azul Wasi street children project in Peru. Please pass the word, there will also be a raffle on the evening too if anyone would like to donate a prize.
