Music & Timing Workshop – 4th May
25 04 2010Tuesday May 4th- 8-9pm at The Chamber Suite, £4. A music & timing workshop will replace the Cross body class for this week only. This workshop is suitable for anyone. We will learn about the different instruments in a salsa band, the timing of these and how they combine to give the sound of salsa. We will also explore musicality, rhythm and how you can spice up your salsa dancing with style by dancing with the instruments, which will be useful for more advanced dancers.

Latin Quarter with Cuban dancer/performer Yamil Cuedo Ferrera from Ballet folklorico Cutumba dance company, Santiago de Cuba. The usual latin/salsa social charity dance with Cuban dance performances from Yamil. Come and sample a taste of the real Cuba with Yamil’s energetic dance.
Venue : The Mark Henderson Centre, Ann Street, Dundee DD3 7TH. 8-12pm. Soft drinks bar only ( please purchase soft drinks at venue, proceeds also going to charity), bring your own alcohol. Chamber Suite classes over holiday period
17 03 2010Tue 23rd March is last class for beginners Bachata. Improvers block start 13th April.
Beginners Rueda class last class 23rd March then break for 2 weeks, class restarts & progresses on 13th April, same times.
Improvers/ Intermediate Rueda & cross body salsa class will continue as normal with Ali over the holidays.
