Next tuesday is the last week of classes before Summer hols. The 6.30pm workshop will be Cuban salsa partnerwork & styling for dancers who have some Cuban salsa dance experience only ( at least improver level), £4. Other 2 classes as usual.
Classes start back on 4th Sept after summer break.
Just a last reminder our Summer LQ Social night will be at Tayside Deaf Hub on Tues 24th July 8.15pm till 11pm. Preceded by a Bachata workshop at 7.15pm, suitable for all levels including beginners will also be something for more experienced dancers too. Workshop & LQ £7. LQ social party or workshop only £4. All money goes to Azul Wasi project as usual. Please pass the word, this is the last LQ social night until Autumn. Will be a raffle too, any donations welcome.

Next Tuesdays workshop at 6.30pm will be SON dance, £4, at Tayside Deaf Hub. This dance is the predecessor of Salsa originating in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba, it’s a very nice dance and music. Well known artists like Buena Vista Social Club play son music, as do Son al Son, the band that come to play in Dundee at LQ. Workshop is suitable for anyone, although some dance experience would be helpful.

Bachata workshop at Tayside Deaf Hub for one week only ( instead of Cross body improver/intermed class) suitable for all levels Tues 5th June, 7.15pm -8pm, £3. Money goes to Azul Wasi as usual. Will be quick run through basic step then nice sequence for those who know some bachata already too, including some fancy footwork. Bachata is a very nice latin dance from Dominican republic.
NEW beginners cross body class at 6.30pm, 8 week block starts Tues 5th June too, £30 for 8 week block. Usual Rueda class follows Bachata workshop at 8.05pm, no special workshop next week & usual finish time at 9.30pm.
