7.15-8.15 Cuban SON – Beginners & Imp/ Intermed ( suitable for anyone) – £5
8.15-9.15 Cuban Rueda – for the Intermediate & Advanced dancers only – £5 or £6 depending on numbers
Latin Quarter Salsa & Latin dance social night, at Club Romano, West Wynd ( off Perth Rd, near Dilsee restaurant), Dundee , 8-12pm, £5/£4 (students). Beginners salsa class 8.15pm. There will also be 2 Indian dance performances about 9.30ish. Come along & have fun while raising money for the Azul Wasi street children project, near Cusco, Peru. Dias Brazil are playing at Fife Jazz Club at Lomond Hills Hotel in Freuchie on Sunday 13th June from 2pm to 5pm. They play samba, bossa and salsa beats , there is room to dance everyone welcome. Tuesday May 4th- 8-9pm at The Chamber Suite, £4. A music & timing workshop will replace the Cross body class for this week only. This workshop is suitable for anyone. We will learn about the different instruments in a salsa band, the timing of these and how they combine to give the sound of salsa. We will also explore musicality, rhythm and how you can spice up your salsa dancing with style by dancing with the instruments, which will be useful for more advanced dancers.
