Many thanks to everyone who came to the social at the Deaf Hub last night, we raised £55 (after room hire) for the Azul Wasi project in Peru. I’ll keep the raffle prizes until the next social which is likely to be the LIVE BAND ( SON al SON) 15th Anniversary party on the 29th Sept at The Friary in Dundee. More details to follow soon. We raised a fantastic £527 last friday at the Blackwatch club for the Azul Wasi project in Peru for former street children.  It was a great turn out, big thanks to everyone who supported the event and who donated raffle prizes.

NO classes May 1st at Deaf Hub

There will be no Salsa classes on May 1st at the Deaf Hub for one week only.

The Cuban salsa beginners class is now closed to total beginners, anyone who has done cross body salsa already can join in week 3 or 4 though.

Hoping to have a social on Tuesday 8th May, and one booked for Friday 1st June- details to follow soon, please save the dates & bring friends !

BIG thanks

Many thanks to everyone for coming along to Latin Quarter classes this year and for those who came to the Xmas social last night on tuesday, we raised £130 (after room hire).  So the total raised for the Azul Wasi project this year from classes & socials is £6,700 and in total since 2003 is £95, 418.

Thanks again for all your support.
Merry Christmas, see you in 2018, classes resume mid January, will post details soon.

Latin Quarter – Halloween Social-31st Oct

LQ Halloween social – Tues 31st October @ the Deaf Hub, Dundee.
7-8pm – Bachata workshop- all levels, beginners welcome too
8-10pm – latin music for dancing
Bachata workshop only – £5, social £3, Combo – £6.
There will be a raffle too, all money raised from the event goes to the Azul Wasi Project near Cusco, Peru as usual.  Any donations for the raffle will be greatly appreciated.
If you would like to dress up for Halloween feel free ! not compulsory though.
