Evening of Japanese Culture for earthquake victims – Fri 25th March

23 03 2011

Message from Yumiko, an invitation to an evening to experience Japanese culture, in support for earthquake victims.  You can come and learn how to make origami bird, taste sushi, drink green tea, while you write your messages to the earthquake victims, and
make your donation.  Place: UNESCO Centre board room (Peters Building), University of Dundee,   Time: 4:30-5:30. Friday 25th March.

Your donation and messages will be sent to Association for Aid and Relief Japan http://www.aarjapan.gr.jp/english/ a Japanese NGO
experienced in emergency relief operations.   AAR has kindly agreed to take our message directly to the earthquake victims along with their aid delivery.  For those who have lost their family and loved ones, a warm message and support from Scotland will be an encouragement.

You are also welcome to bring any additional food or drink items.  If you would like to drink green tea, please bring your own cup.
Please feel free to bring your friends and family, and pass this message to others.  In case you cannot join us on Friday but would like to contribute,  please email Yumiko at  yumikoyasuda@gmail.com .
