Latin Quarter Charity Social with Dominican/traditional Bachata Workshop

Dominican bachata is the original style of bachata dance ( & music), which comes from the Dominican Republic, characterized by fancy footwork and playful style. Workshop is for beginners & improvers at 7.30pm, followed by the social from 8.30pm till 10.30pm. Beginners will learn the basic bachata steps & turns, improvers plus will do the Dominican.
Anyone is welcome to come to the workshop and social. It’s an opportunity to meet other dancers and practice moves from classes.
Bachata workshop only – £5, Social £3, Combo Workshop & social £6. CASH ONLY.
There will be NO bar but you can bring your own drinks including alcoholic ones. There will be a few snacks and soft drinks on sale.
There is a raffle, prizes are always very welcome if you have any donations, either bring to classes in advance or just on the night.
All money raised goes to the Azul Wasi project in Peru (except room hire fees).
There is no parking directly outside venue, park on Brown Street instead.
